BE A VOICE For Persecuted Christians
Since we launched the Be-A-Voice Network 18 months ago, more than 8,000 people have agreed to BE A VOICE for persecuted Christians in their church, small group or online sphere of influence. BE-A-VOICE members are speaking up on behalf of our persecuted brothers and sisters, calling others to pray and take other action on behalf of the persecuted church. You too can join this amazing network of believers.
Here’s what some BE-A-VOICE members are saying:
“When I first found this site I too was overwhelmed by how little I knew about my Brothers and Sisters that suffer for our Lord. I started to pray about it, then I would forward the weekly prayer updates to people, now I have almost 60 people on that prayer chain. GOD will show you what He wants you to do, just ask Him.”
“I have brought various prayer requests to my small group Bible study and to my Sunday school class. It has been so amazing to see God work in many of the situations we have been praying for! I know it is an encouragement to those we are praying for but I feel like I am the one receiving the blessing.”
“I have been cutting and pasting pictures from the newsletter and online site into flyers for our church bulletin so we can pray for the persecuted church. Now I can just send e-mails and Facebook posts.”
By becoming a member, you make a commitment to continue making the message of today’s persecuted church known through prayer, education and practical involvement.
When you join VOM’s new Be-A-Voice Network you will receive FREE online access to prayer bulletins, prisoner profile sheets and you’ll have the ability to request free copies of Tortured for Christ for your Christian friends.

Did You Know These Facts?
Men and Women who Mocked God
Death is certain but the Bible speaks about untimely death! Make a personal reflection about this….. It is written in the Bible (Galatians 6:7): ‘Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man sow, that shall he also reap.
John Lennon (Singer):
Some years before, during his interview with an American Magazine, he said: ‘Christianity will end, it will disappear. I do not have to argue about that. I am certain. Jesus was ok, but his subjects were too simple, today we are more famous than Him’ (1966).
Lennon, after saying that the Beatles were more famous than Jesus Christ, was shot six times.
Tancredo Neves (President of Brazil):
During the Presidential campaign, he said if he got 500,000 votes from his party, not even God would remove him from Presidency.
Sure he got the votes, but he got sick a day before being made President, then he died.
Cazuza (Bi-sexual Brazilian composer, singer and poet):
During A show in Canecio ( Rio de Janeiro ), while smoking his cigarette, he puffed out some smoke into the air and said: ‘God, that’s for you.’
He died at the age of 32 of LUNG CANCER in a horrible manner.
The man who built the Titanic
After the construction of Titanic, a reporter asked him how safe the Titanic would be. With an ironic tone he said: ‘Not even God can sink it’
The result: I think you all know what happened to the Titanic.
Marilyn Monroe (Actress)
She was visited by Billy Graham during a presentation of a show. He said the Spirit of God had sent him to preach to her. After hearing what the Preacher had to say, she said: ‘I don’t need your Jesus’.
A week later, she was found dead in her apartment.
Bon Scott (Singer)
The ex-vocalist of the AC/DC. On one of his 1979 songs he sang: ‘Don’t stop me; I’m going down all the way, down the highway to hell’.
On the 19th of February 1980, Bon Scott was found dead, he had been choked by his own vomit.
Campinas (IN 2005)
In Campinas, Brazil a group of friends, drunk, went to pick up a friend… The mother accompanied her to the car and was so worried about the drunkenness of her friends and she said to the daughter holding her hand, who was already seated in the car: ‘My Daughter, Go With God And May He Protect You.’ She responded: ‘Only If He (God) Travels In The Trunk, Cause Inside Here… It’s Already Full’.
Hours later, news came by that they had been involved in a fatal accident, everyone had died, the car could not be recognized what type of car it had been, but surprisingly, the trunk was intact. The police said there was no way the trunk could have remained intact. To their surprise, inside the trunk was a crate of eggs, none was broken.
Christine Hewitt (Jamaican Journalist and entertainer)
She said the Bible (Word of God) was the worst book ever written.
In June 2006 she was found burnt beyond recognition in her motor vehicle.
Many more important people have forgotten that there is no other name that was given so much authority as the name of Jesus. Many have died, but only Jesus died and rose again, and he is still alive.
Nails in the Fence
There once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His Father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence.
The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down.
He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence. Finally the day came when the boy didn’t lose his temper at all.
He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper.
The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone.
The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. He said, “You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. But it won’t matter how many times you say I’m sorry, the wound will still be there. A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one. Remember that friends are very rare jewels, indeed. They make you smile and encourage you to succeed. They lend an ear, they share words of praise and they always want to open their hearts to us.”
