AI is Here, but Not Equitably.
Organizations that have capital and technical staff are already benefiting. Underserved communities are last in line and least equipped to adopt it. CIF exists to redistributes that by building capacity for the nonprofits serving these communities.
Thanks to your contributions, we get to keep our programs affordable and accessible.
Everyone tells you AI will transform your business. Almost no one shows you how to point it at the one thing that actually pays the bills: finding customers. Most AI sessions leave you with a notebook full of ideas and nothing running when you get home. This one is built the opposite way. You will walk out with a working lead generation system that you set up yourself, during the session, using free or easily accessible AI tools.
When someone asks AI for a business recommendation, will your business show up? Customers are increasingly using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google’s AI-powered search experiences to find businesses, compare options, and get answers. The good news is that you do not need to start over. Strong SEO, useful content, accurate business information, and a clear online presence still matter. The next step is understanding how AI tools are finding and interpreting information about your business.

What We Do
Two things to know: where we focus, and how the work gets done.

Three areas where AI access decides who gets ahead
- K-12 education
- Students meeting AI for the first time, in classrooms and libraries.
- Workforce development
- Job seekers and career changers who need the skill employers are already asking for.
- Economic mobility
- Owners and operators of the small organizations holding neighborhoods together.
How We Amplify Impact
- Working alongside nonprofits
- They bring the problem and the people. We build the workshop, the self-paced class, and the prompts, then train their facilitators to run it under their own name.
- Building capacity for nonprofits
- A scored readiness assessment run alongside the staff doing the work, then applied training for the specific people it identifies. Their team builds the workflow with us guiding, so a named internal owner and a signed AI use policy stay behind.
